Arayes Meat Filling

Step 1: Prepare the Meat Filling
In a bowl, combine lean ground beef, diced onion, garlic, coriander, green chillies (if using), smoked paprika, black pepper, cayenne, and salt. Mix well with your hands until thoroughly combined.

Step 2: Assemble the Arayes
Take one sliced pitta bread and spread approximately one-fifth of the meat filling evenly inside. Aim for a thickness similar to what is shown in the video.

Step 3: Cook the Arayes
6 minHeat a pan (a griddle pan is recommended for grill marks) and spray with cooking spray. Place the filled pitta bread in the pan. Cook on medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes per side, until the outside is crispy and the meat is cooked through.

Once cooked, slice the Arayes into desired portions and serve immediately.
